Delhi : The ability to correct errors in the address box is one of the many new capabilities that Google has added to its web browser Chrome for iOS and Android smartphones. The goal of the new function is to make surfing more enjoyable and time-efficient for users.

Google claims that the address bar in Chrome can now identify errors and provide recommendations based on past usage. In addition, it will include the names of well-known websites beneath the URL bar even if you haven't been there before. Users may quickly access the recommended website by clicking on it, which will send them to the search results page.

When attempting to discover a website, Chrome will also automatically complete URLs based on your previous search criteria. Up until now, users had to write the URLs starting from the beginning in order for the app to autocomplete them. To access Google Flights, for instance, you will need to type google.com first, then the page you wish to see. These days, all users have to do is key in "flights," and Chrome will finish the web URL automatically.

The option to search bookmarked folders straight from the URL bar is another clever innovation. To view webpages from the collection, simply put the folder name into Chrome's search box. The internet behemoth said that it is enhancing the desktop Chrome address bar's visual design. Currently, results are displayed as soon as you begin typing.

Google released many new features, including a screen reader for Maps, an enhanced magnifying tool, additional customization choices for Assistant routines, and more, in addition to improvements to the Chrome search and address bar.
