On social media sites, a number of people have been discussing their encounters with "insensitive" conduct in the workplace.

One of these anxious workers related a peculiar circumstance he encountered at work. The article quickly gained traction online. He claimed that his manager reprimanded him for using the office to charge his phone. My boss called me out today for using the company's electricity for personal purposes, accusing me of stealing it. What do you think, guys?

I don't use my phone constantly; I just occasionally forget to charge it at night before I go to sleep. The user described it as a desk job. Your employer is a douchebag, a user wrote. stating that is stealing company power is like to stating that is stealing company air or that is stealing business water from a water fountain.

Tell him that what he is taking by not paying you all of what you are worth is worth much more than the 3 cents it costs to charge your phone. Without really telling me that your employer doesn't do anything constructive, tell me that your boss doesn't do anything productive. Another person responded to the message, saying that this micromanagement BS is a blatant indication that your supervisor is not important to the work flow.

When that happens, malevolent compliance manifests itself as refraining from using your phone for any work-related purposes, a fourth person commented. Without email, calls or texts, or MFA. If they want you to perform any task that calls for a phone, they must purchase one for you.
