WATCH: Bengaluru Woman goes to doctor with headache and a huge spider crawls out of her ear

New Delhi : A terrifying video of a spider crawling out from an Indian woman's ear has gone viral over the internet. In the video, a doctor can be heard coaxing out the spider from the woman's ear. The woman had reached Columbia Asia Hospital in Hebbal with complaints of a headache and a tingling sensation in her head. After diagnosis, doctors found that a living spider is responsible for it.

The 49-year-old woman, identified as Lekshmi, had fallen asleep; she woke up to a tingling sensation in her right ear. She washed her ear, even asked her daughter to check if something is inside; unfortunately, nothing worked and she headed to the hospital for check up.

The doctors poured a liquid medicine inside her ear canal and directed the massive spider with the help of light.

The whole process was filmed by the doctors and now the video has gone viral. Watch video below:

Lekshmi responded to the whole incident and dubbed it as a terrifying experience. India.com quotes Dr Santosh Shivaswamy, consultant ENT specialist at Columbia Hospital, “It is common to see emergency room visits due to the presence a foreign object in the ear, and it takes a simple procedure to remove the object.

However, when a living insect makes its way inside a human ear, the patient’s anxiety makes it difficult to continue the procedure.”
