China may outwit Japan from India with billion of dollars
- China, which is believed to be cash rich, may outwit rival Japan with a pledge to invest billion dollars in India
- The whole deal is expected to be pitched during Xi Jinping's visit next week
- Xi will be visiting India on September 17
- With growing outbound direct investment, China is likely to surpass Japan's commitment of $35 billion investment in India
- China will be pitching India to handover some railway corridors to upgrade them with high speed tracks
- Average speed of trains is likely to increase upto 180 km per hour from 160 km per hour
- During Xi's visit, China is set to announce two industrial parks, one
- each in Gujarat and Maharastra to begin a host of manufacturing
- and energy units.
