Los Angeles : America’s new President Donald John Trump took the oath of office as nation’s 45th head at 9AM amid joyous roars of support and 21-gun salute.

Just at the time of swearing-in, President-elect broke the first law i.e. he violated Article I, Section 9 of the U.S. Constitution, known as the emoluments clause.

He put his hand on two bibles — one a family bible, and one the same bible that President Lincoln was sworn in for his first term, and that President Obama used.

Trump swore that he would, to the best of his ability, “preserve, protect, and defend the Constitution of the United States.”

But it was then promptly broke his word.

He was administered the oath of office by Supreme Court Chief Justice John Roberts.

Mike R. Pence on Friday was sworn in as Vice President of the US by the Supreme Court Associate Justice Clarence Thomas.

After taking oath of the office Pence shook hands with the President-elect, Donald Trump, and outgoing President Barack Obama.
