New Delhi : In an unbelievable incident, an Irish woman Amanda Teague, of Downpatrick, Northern Ireland, tied knot with a Haitian pirate named Jack who died 300 years ago.

She explained that after finding no suitable man for herself she decided to get married to a ghost who was a thief of seas in the 1700s.

Her marriage was also attended by friends and family members which was held in Irish coast.

The story does not end here, it has been learned that the newlywed couple went for a honeymoon too. Reportedly, they spent the honeymoon in Northern Ireland. As per Daily Star report, Amanda found her “soulmate” and insisted that the couple is just like any other ordinary couple.

Amanda who works as Jack Sparrow impersonator revealed that she has never seen her husband in physical form. Her love affair with the ghost started one night in 2014 when she was lying in her bed and felt some kind of energy besides her.

“He is my soul mate. I am so happy. It is the perfect kind of relationship for me. There are a lot of people out there who don’t know about spiritual relationships, but it could be right for them. I want to get the message out there,” Amanda told Daily Star.

“One day he said to me ‘We can actually be together you know’ but I had never heard of an intimate relationship between a spirit and a human before,” she added.
