Pakistan army rescues 22,000 trapped in floods
- As India is dealing with massive floods in Jammu and Kashmir, Pakistan faces nightmare with high flood too

- Pakistan Army has claimed to save about 22000 lives from the massive floods
- A total of 257 people have been killed so far in the tragic incident
- The Army was called after the civilian authorities said the floods were out of control
- Helicopters to boats every possible thing is used by Army to save lives and provide food to the people
- “Army troops have rescued 22,000 stranded people in the flood waters from various areas of Punjab and (Pakistan-occupied) Kashmir to safer places by Army helicopters and boats,” said a military statement
- According to the National Disaster Management Authority over 1 million people were affected in Punjab.
