Pakistan army rescues 22,000 trapped in floods

As India is dealing with massive floods in Jammu and Kashmir, Pakistan faces nightmare with high flood too
With increased water level in Chenab River Pakistan is facing high destruction
Pakistan Army has claimed to save about 22000 lives from the massive floods
A total of 257 people have been killed so far in the tragic incident
The Army was called after the civilian authorities said the floods were out of control
Helicopters to boats every possible thing is used by Army to save lives and provide food to the people
“Army troops have rescued 22,000 stranded people in the flood waters from various areas of Punjab and (Pakistan-occupied) Kashmir to safer places by Army helicopters and boats,” said a military statement
According to the National Disaster Management Authority over 1 million people were affected in Punjab.
