Why is Ola offering a free fork upgrade on S1s?
Delhi : On March 14, Ola Electric said that, in response to safety concerns, it is allowing customers to upgrade their scooters with new front forks. The ride-hailing business claimed that there had been "some community concerns regarding the safety" of the front fork arm of the Ola S1.
The business stated that it was offering clients the chance to upgrade to the new front fork in order to allay any worries they might have.
"You can rest assured that this is untrue. All of Ola's scooter parts, including the front arm, are rigorously tested in harsh environments and developed with a safety factor significantly higher than the average loads experienced on vehicles "That was fantastic.
According to Ola, the business recently modified the front fork design as part of a continual engineering and design improvement process to further increase strength and longevity.
The upgrade will be free, according to the Bengaluru-based company, and appointments will be taken starting on March 22. Customers will soon receive a full appointment booking process from the business, it was stated.
