Tata junks deal to acquire Bisleri, Jayanti Chauhan to head the company
New Delhi : A day after Tata junked the deal to acquire Bisleri Water Company, chairman Ramesh Chauhan has claimed that his daughter Jayanti Chauhan will be heading the bottled water company in the coming days.
In a media interview, Ramesh Chauhan made the announcement and said that Jayanti Chauhan will be leading company with the professional team and they do not want to sell their business.
On Friday, Tata Consumer product had officially announced they have seized negotiations with Bisleri in regards to a potential transaction to confirm that they are not entering into a deal of a definitive agreement.
Talking about Jayanti Chauhan, she is 42 years old and is currently the vice chairperson of the company. According to media report, it has been claimed that she will be working with a professional management team led by Angelo George and she had also launched Vedika brand, which is the part of Bisleri’s portfolio, in the recent years.
