Commercial LPG cylinder prices slashed by Rs 171.5 per unit

New Delhi : In accordance with the declining international trend, the prices of commercial LPG were reduced by ₹171.5 per 19kg cylinder on May 1. 

State-owned oil companies in Delhi now offer the 19-kg commercial LPG cylinder at ₹1,856.5. This marks the second consecutive decrease in rates, following a reduction of ₹91.5 per 19-kg cylinder on April 1.

Previously, on March 1, petroleum and oil marketing companies had increased the prices of commercial LPG cylinders by ₹350.50 per unit and domestic LPG cylinders by ₹50 per unit. 

The last reduction in commercial cylinder prices occurred on September 1 last year, when they were lowered by ₹91.50. Additionally, on August 1, 2022, the prices of commercial LPG cylinders were reduced by ₹36, and prior to that, on July 6, the rates for the 19-kilogram commercial cylinder were cut by ₹8.5 per unit.
