Disney announces Home Alone Reboot for a whole 'new generation'

New Delhi : After rebooting Aladdin and The Lion King, Disney has now announced reboot of other hits like Home Alone, Night at the Museum, and Diary of a Wimpy Kid on its own streaming channel Disney+.

The new streaming channel will be launched next year and is aimed at the whole 'new generation'.

Not much details have been announced about the characters of the movie. Disney+ will also be home to original content from both the Star Wars and Marvel franchises, Comicbook.com reported.

Home Alone is one of the favourite classics of the 90s. The movie starred Kevin McCallister's misadventures to the big screen. The story revolves around Kevin and his family who forget to bring him on their Christmas vacation, leaving him to outwit burglars. The movie was a massive success resulting in four sequels in theaters and television.

However, the first one was the most loved movie of the franchise.
