New Delhi : In a major twist to pee gate Air India case, the accused banking executive has told the Delhi court that he was not involved in the incident and it was his elderly co-passenger who had urinated on herself and then blamed him.

The fresh claim by Shankar Mishra came in response to a notice by the session court on an application by Delhi Police for questioning him in the matter. He was earlier sent to a 14-day judicial remand.

Shankar Mishra had applied for a bail after 4 days of his arrest, which was later turned down by the judge, saying that the acquisitions against him are "utterly disgusting and repulsive."

It must be noted that during the bail hearing, Mishra’s lawyer had made no reference to the latest claims of women urinating on herself. And the woman had told the court that she was being threatened by Mr Mishra’s knowns.

"I'm regularly receiving messages, threatening me. The accused's father sent me a message and said 'karma will hit you' and then deleted the message. They're sending me messages and deleting them. This needs to stop," her lawyers said.

Shankar Mishra was arrested by the cops after the acquisition came to light more than a month after the incident happened in late November. He has also been sacked from his company. Some media reports have claimed that Mishra was allegedly drunk when the incident happened on New York to Delhi flight on November 26.

Hey, the woman had first filed a complaint with the airline staff but after failing to get any satisfactory reply, he complained to N Chandrasekaran, chairperson of Tata Group, which owns Air India.
