BJP attempts to buy 7 AAP MLAs for Rs 25 crore each: Arvind Kejriwal

New Delhi : Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has alleged that Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has now started doing dirty politics of trying to buy AAP MLAs, hoping to collapse Aam Aadmi Party in the national capital. He claimed that Rs 25 crores have been offered to 7 AAP MLAs each to lure them to join BJP.

According to the Delhi CM, BJP has told the AAP MLAs that Mr Arvind Kejriwal is all set to get arrested and with that they have the best offer to join BJP for aforementioned price. He made these claims in a long social media post in Hindi.

In the past few days, they have contacted our 7 MLAs from Delhi and said, "After a few days, we will arrest Kejriwal. After that, we will break the MLAs. We have spoken to 21 MLAs. We are also talking to others. After that, we will overthrow the Aam Aadmi Party government in Delhi. You also come along. We will give you 25 crores and make you contest elections on a BJP ticket."

CM Arvind Kejriwal added, "This means that I am not being arrested for investigating a liquor scam, but rather they are conspiring to overthrow the Aam Aadmi Party government in Delhi. In the past nine years, they have hatched many conspiracies to overthrow our government. But they have not succeeded. God and the people have always supported us. All our MLAs are also firmly with us. This time too, these people will fail in their evil intentions"

He also mentioned that the attempts to destabilize his government in the national capital are a result of good work his party is doing for the benefit of people. Despite various obstacles, Mr Kejriwal added, the people of Delhi hold immense love for AAP, making it difficult for the BJP to defeat them in elections.
