"Janta Curfew will end tonight at 9 PM, but this does not mean people should start the celebration. Do not consider it a win, this is a long fight. Today people of India proved that we are capable, if decided we can combat bigger problems with ease," PM Modi tweeted in Hindi.

"Along with this, he also asked the people of India to follow the precautions and guidelines issued by the Central government. The districts where lockdown has been announced, people must remain indoors. People must leave homes if it there is an emergency," PM Modi said in another tweet in Hindi.

75 districts in India have been put under complete lockdown till March 31. Essential services have been kept exempted from the lockdown.
