Unnao: 2 girls found dead in fields, another in critical condition

Unnao : In a horrific incident, two UP girls were found dead in a field; another girl found with them is in a critical stage.

The girls, of age 16, 13 and 17, had left their home to get fodder for animals. But when they did not return for a long time, their families started looking for them and found the girls lying in the field.

They took the girls to a nearby hospital, where two of them were declared dead and one in critical condition.

The bodies of the murdered girls have been sent for autopsy. As per preliminary information, doctors suspect it to be a case of poisoning.

The police has started investigations in the matter. Superintendent of Police Anand Kulkarni said that a lot of foam was found from the place the bodies of girls were recovered.

"We started a search after the girls didn't return home for hours and found them in the field, unconscious," said the brother of one of the girls. He had earlier claimed the girls were tied up with clothes however later said someone else had told him that. No eyewitness has said the girls were found tied up.

Meanwhile, the police has claimed that the answers to many questions will come only after the autopsy report is out.
