New Delhi : Things are not getting better for the Northern India as we talk about the winter situation in the region. A weather expert has predicted that the temperature in the plain region can go down till -4 degrees Celsius by the next week.

According to the weatherman, Navdeep Dahiya, the severe chills on the horizon are predicted between January 14 and 19 and likely to be at their peak from January 16 to 18. Light rains have also been predicted during the days which may bring a little respite for the residents in the National Capital Region.

The Delhi has been facing bone-chilling nights from past several weeks and IMD has predicted temporary relief for residents of the Northwest India from excruciating cold this week.

Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi, Western UP and North Rajasthan could also experience drizzle and light rainfall over the next few days.
