New Delhi : Having healthy skin is not an easy job. With changing weather and loads of pollution, our skin ends up with a layer of dirt, grime and impurities and all of these things can take a toll on our skin. It can clog the pores and lead to numerous skin problems and this is why most of us religiously follow a strict skincare routine which can help us maintain our skin. But that is not nearly enough if you want to fight off all skin problems and achieve clear skin. Everything we eat and all the stress we take can also show up on our skin and this is why it is essential that we focus on a healthy skin care routine and the best way to do it is home remedies and natural products. While organic products are trending, it never really gets better than using actual home remedies and natural ingredients for our skin. One such amazing ingredient is neem. Neem leaves have numerous health and beauty benefits which make it a magic ingredient for our skincare routine. Here are some ways to use neem leaves for skincare.

1. Take some neem leaves and boil them and clean filtered water. Let it cool down and then drain this water and put it in a spray bottle. You can use this neem water as a toner to keep your skin healthy and clear.

2. You can take some neem powder or fresh neem leaves paste and mix it with some turmeric and some olive oil. Apply a thin layer of this paste on your face and neck and let it dry. Wash it off with some warm water.

3. Mix one spoon of neem powder with one spoon of aloe vera gel and a few drops of freshly squeezed lemon juice and use this mixture to exfoliate your skin and remove all the impurities and dead skin cells. It's best to use fresh neem leaves paste but powder works as well.

4. Mix one spoon of neem powder with one spoon of multani mitti and one spoon of sandalwood powder. Add some yoghurt and one spoon of rose water and make a smooth paste. Apply this on your face and let it dry before you wash it off. Rinse with lukewarm water and moisturise your face after drying it.
