New Delhi : In a big news to safeguard children against coronavirus, Covaxin for kids above 2 years is likely to be made available by September this year.

It must be noted that the AIIMS has already started screening children for the same from June 7 onwards. The children considered for the trials are of age group 2-17.

The DCGI had on May 12 granted permission to Bharat Biotech to carry out phase 2, phase 3 trials of Covaxin on children as young as two.
