Eman Ahmed was not treated well in Saifee hospital: Sister

Mumbai : Egyptian national Eman Ahmed Abd El Aty was in news from last few months as she is in India to loss weight. She was admitted in Saifee Hospital in Mumbai for her treatment. Everything was going well but suddenly her sister Shaaima Selim claimed that Eman is not treated well in hospital.

The 37-year old, weighing around 500 kg and known as world’s heaviest woman and had not stepped out of her home from last 25 years.

Taking social media, Eman’s sister Shaaima Selim has accused bariatric surgeon Muffazal Lakdawala, being a liar and posted on Facebook videos and photos purportedly raising doubts over the patient’s progress.

Reacting to Shaimaa’s Facebook posts, Lakdawala refuted the allegations and said he is extremely saddened by this and if this is the result, humanitarian deeds will stop completely.

The hospital alleged that Shaimaa is not prepared to take back her sister and the fright over Eman’s likely discharge this week has resulted in her outbursts.
