Shilpa Shetty shares benefits of eating jaggery
Mumbai : Actress Shilpa Shetty is known for being one of the fittest celebrities; she often shares with her fans about the good eating habits. She may sometime go for a cheat meal but otherwise, she has always preferred to be on a strict diet.
On Tuesday morning, she shared an Instagram post highlighting the benefits of having jaggery. During the winter season, jaggery is advised in the diet as it is healthy and nutritious.
The caption read, "Jaggery, also known as “Gur” in Hindi, is a quite popular natural sweetener used as an alternative for sugar.
"It has no signs of any kind of fat, so without thinking about excessive fat consumption, you can easily add it to your diet, but overconsumption should be avoided by people, especially for people who have health issues like diabetes."
