Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti on Monday announced that Rs 5 lakh will be given to each family which lost their member to firing by security forces during last year’s unrest in Kashmir.

Nearly 1000 Muslims on Monday attacked Ahmadi mosque in Pakistan's province to prevent the members of the minority community from commemorating Prophet Mohammad's birthday, leaving several injured.
