Delhi : Facebook is rolling out some new tools for its creators, one of which is the option to compare the performance of various Reels against one another.

The Reels A/B testing tool is the most noteworthy addition. A/B testing is a popular strategy in publishing and marketing whereby components of a piece of content, such as an article or newsletter, are changed to determine which generates more interaction. Publishers will test a few alternative headlines for a news piece, for instance, to determine which one readers react to the best.

In a test, Reels will allow producers to assign up to four distinct subtitles or thumbnails to a single video. Different versions will be broadcast for 30 minutes to various audiences who are part of the creator's audience, based on photos of the film. Unless the author modifies it, the version with the most plays at the conclusion of the testing time will be considered to have "won" and appear on their profile. Currently only available on mobile devices, Meta claims that the function may eventually include AI capabilities for creating thumbnails and captions.

Additionally, Meta unveiled a few of improvements that could simplify content management. Now, a creator can check how each of their posts is doing on their professional dashboard and take steps like removing posts from their profile or concealing them.

Facebook will now allow users to see material for 90 days instead of just 28. This means that creators will have access to more data on how their work is performing on the site. Additional additional information includes the performance of a reel in comparison to the creator's previous videos, a metric for viewer retention that indicates viewership declines, and view counts that take replays of a reel into account.
