Netflix rolls out playback speed controls on Android

New Delhi : Netflix has rolled out the brand new feature to control playback speed on its Android application. After you update your application to the latest version, you will be able to choose playback speed from 0.5x, 0.75x, 1.25x, and 1.5x, aside from 1x of course.

If you are the one who likes to watch movie in increased or decreased speed then Netflix has made it possible for you with the new update.

The feature was announced by the company last year, but it took so long to launch because Netflix wanted to release it only with the precision and auto tuning of the pitch and speed.

This has apparently been "much requested by members for years", according to Keela Robison, Netflix's VP of product innovation. 

The feature will also be launched soon for the iOS and web version. But, there are no plans to release it for the TV application.
