New Pet Battle Dungeon: Gnomeregan

New Delhi : The new pet battle dungeon, Gnomeregan, is currently live on World of Warcraft’s 8.1.0 patch. This pet particular battle dungeon, like its predecessorsDeadmines and Wailing Caverns, takes place in a special pet battle version of their respective dungeons.

What Are Pet Dungeons?

When it comes down to it, Pet Battle Dungeons are almost the same as normal ones. The difference lies in the fact that to continue in the former, you need to win a series of pet battles. In these dungeons, there are a number of stages, with each requiring you to defeat a few sets of battle pets oreven a boss. The battle pets that you engage in throughout the dungeons are often smaller versions of the NPCs fought in the normal version of the dungeon.

How Do I Battle?

World of Warcraft Pet Battles is a new type of turn-based mini-game within WoW. Truth be told, the gameplay here is rather similar to Pokémon. These Pet Battles allow players to raise their companions’ level up to 25 maximum, capture wild pets, and even battle other players’ companions. Combat is turn-based in PvE battles with no time restrictions whatsoever. You can take your time to formulate tactics regarding what spells to use next. Here, you’ll need to carefully formulate your underlying strategies and execute your moves with pinpoint accuracy. You’ll want to take note of the inherent qualities of pets as they can have multiple round cooldowns or extra damage infliction whenever certain conditions are met. Put your creativity to the test by using WoW gold to get premier pets. Then you can start experimenting on attack combinations to see which ones yield the best results.

Getting Started

As it was in previous Pet Battle Dungeons, this particular one has two separate difficulties. Earning the “AllGrowns Up” achievement will kick start your journey.  To do this, you’ll need to raise a pet to level 25. You’ll then need to pay a visit to the RadekFuselock in Dazar’alor, which is situated right next to the Happy Holaua if you’re part of the Horse. However, you happen to be part of the Alliance, you’ll need to drop byTizzy Gearjolt in Hook Point, Boralus Harbournext to Dana Pull. Both of these paths will lewad you straight to the Gnomeregan per battle dungeon. Each will then give you a quest sending you to Micro Zoox, who is outside the instance portal for Gnomeregan.

The normal mode lets your heal or revive your pets any time as they traverse the dungeon and defeat NPCs, as well as you must have at least one pet that is level 25 to be able to try your hand at the Gnomeregan.

If you want to up the ante a bit after completing the normal difficulty, you may want to try Challenge mode. Here, you cannot heal or revive your pets with the Battle Pet Bandage or revive Battle Pets at any time. You also must have at least 15 pets that are at least level 25 to unlock this mode. This mode can be done weekly and for you to unlock it, you’ll need to successfully complete the dungeon in normal difficulty first.

Rewards

Completing the quest to finish the normal version of the pet battle dungeon rewards you with the Ultimate Battle-Training Stone and unlocks Manapoof Link: Gnomeregan, allowing you to teleport to Gnomeregan from Manapoof, located next to either quest-giver in your faction’s capital city or Broken Isles Dalaran.

While completing the Challenge Mode the first time will grant the achievement “Pet Battle Challenge: Gnomeregan”, which rewards a Mini Spider Tank battle pet, completing the challenge version once per week will reap playersPristine Gizmos which can be exchanged for items from Micro Zoox. Items include an Unopened Gnomeregan Supply Box, Mechanical Cockroach,Rechargeable Alarm-O-Dog Battery, andSchematic: Mechantula which allows Engineers to create Mechantula, Leper Rat Tail. Out of all the items, the most difficult to get is the Rechargeable Alarm-O-Dog Battery since it costs about three Pristine Gizmos.
