New Delhi : Xiaomi introduced the Redmi K30 family early this week with two new smartphones - the more impressive Redmi K30 Pro Zoom with a telephoto camera, and a vanilla variant, swapping the zoom lens with a macro shooter.

Both the new smartphones were put on pre-order on March 24 and a flash sale was conducted today. According to the official Redmi profile on Weibo, all units were sold out in 30 seconds and Xiaomi gained CNY100 million (about $14 million) in revenue in that minuscule time slot.

Going by the numbers revealed and making simple mathematical calculations, Xiaomi sold no less than 25,000 units, but no more than 33,500.

Basic Redmi K30 Pro with 6/128 GB memory costs CNY2,999 ($425), while the most expensive one is 8/256 GB Redmi K30 Pro Zoom for CNY3,999 ($520).

The company is yet to launch the 12/512 GB option which was recently advertised on the JD.com with a price tag of CNY4,499 ($635).
