Delhi : Chrome 110 will be released by Google in February. Windows 7 and Windows 8/8.1 will soon no longer support Google Chrome. On February 7, the tech giant will release Chrome 110, the latest version for Windows 10 and later-running devices.

Google stated that in order to continue receiving future Chrome versions, your device must be running Windows 10 or later.

The tech giant continued, "If you are currently using Windows 7 or Windows 8/8.1, we strongly advise you to upgrade to a supported Windows version so that you can continue to get Chrome features and the most recent security updates."

From January 10, 2022, Microsoft will stop providing security updates and technical support for Windows 7 and Windows 8.1. Updates will also stop being provided for WebView2 support.

Google is developing a new feature called cross-device alerts that would allow users to restart media playback on many devices.
