Delhi : There will be an option to use email verification for login instead of the default WhatsApp login process. The primary login method entails a 6-digit code given to the user's registered cellphone number.

WhatsApp is getting ready to launch a new feature that will allow users to add an email address to their account. This feature is being introduced by the Meta-owned service as a way for customers to access their WhatsApp account. Learn how to login using a mail code and other data below.

The new functionality will be accessible through a new area in account settings called "Email Address." People will be able to log into the instant messaging service using their email address after their email address has been added and confirmed. However, WhatsApp is not abandoning the core login mechanism, which involves sending a 6-digit code to the registered cell phone.

The email function is primarily intended for situations in which an individual does not have access to their phone number or is having difficulty receiving text messages. Furthermore, the latter feature will be optional, thus it is up to the user whether to enable it or not. For the time being, it is only available to beta testers and those who have installed the most recent version.

You can input your email address when you enable two-step verification. This protects your account by allowing WhatsApp to send you a reset link if you forget your PIN and a verification code when you create your account.
