Delhi : Apple will only support the Wi-Fi 6E network on iPhone 15 Pro models.

The iPhone 15 Pro model was identified in the paper as "D8x" and stated that only the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max models would be able to use the faster Wi-Fi 6E.

While the normal iPhone 15 model, designated as "D3y," is most likely to continue using Wi-Fi 6 rather than Wi-Fi 6E, it was labelled as such.

Wi-Fi 6E has already been included in a few of the iPhone manufacturer's products, but only in the most recent iPad Pro, Mac mini, and MacBook Pro models.

Devices can connect to routers and modems that implement the Wi-Fi 6E standard, however it is a relatively newer technology and is not yet generally adopted.

Wi-Fi 6E offers greater bandwidth compared to Wi-Fi 6 and offers quicker connectivity rates, lower latency, and improved capacity, according to the report.

This information was also supplied by Barclays analysts Blayne Curtis and Tom O'Malley last week, albeit they did not say if it will be accessible on all models or just the Pro ones.
