Karachi : Pakistan is dealing with one of the biggest economic crisis in the history these days, following which the prices of essential commodities like milk has been inflated to a record high. According to a report, the milk is now being retailed at a price of Pak Rs 210 per litre, while the meat is now being sold at a shocking cost of Pak Rs 900 per kg.

According to a report by Dawn, the prices of raw chicken has been increased by Pak Rs 30 to Pak Rs 40 per kg in the last 2 days.

Earlier this month, live bird was being sold at Pak Rs 340 to Pak Rs 360 per kg while it was being sold at Pak Rs 380 to Pak Rs 420 per kg in January 2023 end. The chicken meat is now being sold at Pak Rs 700 to Pak Rs 780 per kg which was Pak Rs 620 to Pak Rs 650 per kg last week.

Boneless meat, on the other hand, is being retailed at a price of Pak Rs 1000 to Pak Rs 1200 per kg. Boneless poultry meat rate has crossed the price of boneless veal which is currently being sold at Rs 900-1,000 per kg, while meat with bones is selling at Rs 800-850 per kg.

The news report also claimed that many milk retailers in Pakistan are selling the milk at an inflated price of Pak Rs 210 to Pak Rs 220 per litre. Nearly Pak Rs 25 to Pak Rs 27 have been increased in the past couple of days.
