Krishnakumar Kunnath may have died an unnatural death, autopsy to be done

Kolkata : The nation received a shock on Tuesday evening with the news of KK passing away; in the initial reports it has been claimed that he died of a heart attack after his live concert in Kolkata. But, now the police has registered a case of unnatural death of the singer and will be doing the post mortem after taking consent of the family.

The mortal remains of the singer will be flown to Mumbai after post mortem is done.

Krishnakumar Kunnath aka KK complained of uneasiness during the break of the concert. but he went on the stage to complete the event and then went straight to the hotel he was staying.

In the hotel, his health deteriorated and was declared 'dead on arrival'.

Meanwhile, the police has been checking the CCTV footage of the hotel to report the exact happening with KK. Going by the visuals available on social media, KK can be seen wiping excessive sweat on the stage and pointing at the air conditioning machines. Around 3,000 people had come to the auditorium to watch his show.
