New Delhi : A video clip showing a gigantic moon eclipsing the Sun during its short 30-second pass by in Arctic has gone viral on the social media. It has been claimed that the phenomenon was seen in the ‘Arctic’ between the territorial claims of Russia and Canada.

Many people on social media shared the video clip.

On searching more about it, News Heads found that the claims made in the video are not true. We found out that the video is an animation made by a TikTok user Aleksey___nx. It has been found that he is the same artist who had shown a UFO on moon.

If we put a little more attention on the video then it can be seen that the ground has green grass, however the arctic region stays covered with snow.

According to a report by The Print, the Moon has an average distance of 238,000 miles (382,900 km) to the Earth. However, its orbit around the Earth is not a perfect circle, as seen in the video.

The video became viral as most of the people were waiting to see the mega cosmic event - Super Blood Moon on Wednesday (May 26).
