3-year-old girl kidnapped, raped, beheaded

Jamshedpur : A three-year-old girl, who was sleeping besides her mother at the railway station, was first kidnapped then gang-raped and later was beheaded by two 'monster' men in Jharkhand's Jamshedpur.

Three men, including the two who are suspected to have killed and raped the girl, have been arrested by the police. One of the killers, Rinku Sahu, was recently out of jail after doing time for kidnapping a child and attempting to kill her in 2015.

Last Friday, the girl was sleeping with her mother at the Tatanagar Railway station when she had gone missing. In the CCTV footage a man was seen carrying the child with him. Her mother reported the missing crime next morning and suspected her partner of doing the crime. The man, who was also with her at the platform, is among the three arrested.

With the help of the CCTV footage, the cops traced down two culprits who later confessed to the crime and also let the police to the body of the girl.

The mutilated body of the child was found on Tuesday, in a plastic bag hidden behind bushes around four km from the railway station.

Police said Rinku Sahu, the man seen carrying away the child, is a repeat offender even though his mother in the police force. A father of three, he had allegedly kidnapped and assaulted many children before.
