New Delhi : Team India on Tuesday secured a memorable win against South Africa in the third ODI to pocket the series.

The spinners for men in blue - Washington Sundar (2/15), Shahbaz Ahmed (2/32) and Kuldeep Yadav (4/18) – bundled up South African side for a mere total of 99 runs, which is also the lowest total of Proteas against India.

Team India, on the other hand, chased down the target in 19.1 overs.

With the loss, South Africa's dream for direct qualification into the upcoming ODI World Cup next year has come into stress.

India has now clinched the series 2-1. Talking about the bowlers, Pacer Mohammad Siraj (2/17) continued his good run to make a strong case for his inclusion in T20 World Cup squad. Washington and Shahbaz got wickets upfront, left-arm spinner Kuldeep, who missed out on a hat-trick, cleaned up the tail.

Earlier, Shikhar Dhawan won the toss and asked the South African side to bat first. The Proteas batters failed to impress and shattered completely.
