Delhi : In February, users will be able to see Instagram's UI change significantly. The social media platform is mainly enhancing Instagram's navigation to make it easier for users to communicate and share. As part of this in-app navigational streamlining, the Create Post button has been returned to the top of the primary navigation bar, and the Shop tab has been completely removed.

After Instagram began testing the redesign last year, specifically around or around September, this update was made.

The Reels button, which is currently the centre of attention, will be replaced by the Shop tab and lose its prominent position at the top and middle of the navigation bar. The platform's overhaul will streamline it even further, according to Instagram CEO Adam Mosseri, who also indicated in a Reel on Monday that it will refocus its efforts on "bringing people together around what they love." Following the implementation of the changes, users will see the Home tab on the left, followed by Search, and the button to add content in the middle. To the right of it are the Reels and Profile tabs.

The button to produce posts has been put back to the centre of the navigation bar by Instagram in response to the controversy that has surrounded it ever since it relocated the Reels tab there. Instagram asserted in 2020 that by doing this, consumers will have easier access to its "growing portfolio of commodities." A few well-known users have, however, criticised the well-liked photo-sharing site for aggressively and excessively pushing Reels.

For instance, Kim Kardashian and Kylie Jenner urged Instagram to "stop trying to be like TikTok" and "make Instagram Instagram again" - Jenner uploaded the image, and Kardashian echoed the same thoughts in her Stories. It happened after the platform proposed adding a full-screen experience to allow video and bigger images.

Fortunately, Instagram is still a place where people go to conduct business and shop. Users and brands can continue to set up and run their Instagram stores on the platform, claims the company. On an article published on the company's website, it said that it was still investing in "shopping experiences that deliver the maximum value for consumers and companies throughout the feed, stories, reels, advertising, and more."
